how to start blogging. the important things for blogging.

If you also want to start your blog and don’t know where to start, then you are reading this perfect article.

I started my blog last year but I’m connected with this industry for a long time. Even I was a writer in multiple blogs. Now I’m handling this blog solo.

So let’s jump to the topic from where to start.

At very first thing is you have to decide what kind of blogging you will do, what kind of articles you can write or what kind of things you can explain better.

So decide that what kind of blog you want, it’s not like that you want to start a tech blog and you don’t have much interest in tech, then it’s not for you. I would say that interest is greater than knowledge because you cant get knowledge on anything without interest. So make sure you are deciding these things before diving into blogging.

The second thing is an easy, attractive Domain name.

A domain name is the most important to describe your blog category in a word and also it should be attractive.

Along with a domain name you also have to decide what blogging platform you want to use. Here I only recommend you to use WordPress. Because WordPress is simple, fast and UI friendly. The support from WordPress is also very good and in the end, you can find any Q&A or tutorials for doing anything in WordPress.

WordPress completely free, and comes with huge libraries of plugins and themes, so if you tight on your budget and don’t want to hire a web developer, then you can install any free theme and edit it by drag and drop tools of WordPress.

The last important thing is the Host server.

You may start with getting plans for shared hosting or VPS. But I would suggest you start with shared hosting, because for handling a VPS you need to know about Linux (terminal) etc. there are lots of courses out there for VPS from beginner to advance in Udemy so you can learn from there. But choosing a shared plan is better for saving time so you can focus on your blog.

Choosing a VPS server is easy because you only need to check the hardware specs of the VPS plans and you can select any as you want, but choosing shared hosting is a little bit different because there are many things you need to care about.

Speed:- Uptime (website loading speed) is a very important thing for any website because when someone types your blog URL and hit enter in the browser, it should be load as fast as possible else you will never get visitors. According to a survey peoples ignore those websites which take more than 2seconds to respond.

My blog was hosted on Vapourhost.com for first 3 months it was fine but after that the loading speed was decreasing because of the bandwidth and amount of space but I upgraded my plan and switched to power plans but it didn’t help much so I moved to hostinger.com and currently hosting from here, the speed is good, price and the customer support also good.

UI:- for UI cPanel is best. So what is cPanel?

cPanel is a web-based hosting control panel provided by any hosting providers to website owners allowing them to manage their websites from a web-based interface. This program gives users a graphical interface from which they can control their portion of the Unix server.

There are lots of other UI also using by the hosting providers like DirectAdmin, but I like cPanel for better and easy understanding. So before buy ask everything to the hosting providers also google for reviews.

In the end, blogging is not an easy as everyone thinks about it. When you start a blog mostly you have to work solo so nobody will be there to helping you and as you don’t have enough money to hire someone then everything only depends on you, I would advise that you only need to focus on your articles, as much you start writing well as fast you will grow.
