There are lots of new features on windows 10 X, Microsoft especially built this OS for fold-able computers and optimized the OS for easily switching between dual and single-screen mode.

Windows 10 X has a highlighted feature, which caching everyone’s eyes. Yes, the TaskBar. You might think that there is nothing fancy about the task-bar because we already had many options to customized the Windows TaskBar. using apps like Rain-meter, But you will still miss the Windows 10 X task-bar.

Meanwhile, the latest news says that Microsoft is already working on pushing the taskbar features and design on all windows 10 OS

Moreover, if you don’t like to wait for Microsoft, here you can still get the windows 10 X taskbar on your Windows PC using FalconX

FalconX gives you control over the position of your taskbar icons. FalconX will give you an original Windows dock like feel. The icons will move to the center or the user is given a position when an icon gets added or removed from the taskbar. You will be given the option to choose between a variety of different animations and change their speeds. The animations can be disabled if you don’t like animations and want them to move in an instant. The center position can also be changed to bring your icons more to the left or right based on the center position. Currently, all taskbar settings are supported including the vertical taskbar. And Multiple taskbars” 

FalconX has been made by Chris Andriessen and is still in development since 6 May 2018. FalconaX is Dock for Microsoft Windows and using FalconX you can customize your windows 10 taskbar like Windows 10 X.

FalconX is free and you can download that from this website and also you can download from Microsoft Store, but you have to pay $1 if you want to download from Microsoft Store. And it is a good way to say thanks to the developer by donating $1 for his excellent work.

After downloading the FalconX just extract the folder and open it. And there you will see some files. 

The first file listed here the FalconX app itself so just double click on it and now you will see that your Taskbar has been changed. So it means the FalconX is running successfully.

Now double click on FalconX settings.

About:- The very first page is for “about’ the app. From the about menu you can report any bug related to FalconX. Also, you can Restart or Stop the FalconX app. But there is a bug on “Restart and Stop” Bottom. Because it doesn’t work. So you have to close the app from the task manager and even after that you must restart the PC then you get your default windows 10 taskbar. 

Animation options:- here you can change the animations styles for FalconX Taskbar. Also, you can change the animations speed.

Position Option:- this the main part of the app, where you can change the positions of apps and taskbar. 

Taskbar Styling:- Here you can select the taskbar style like transparent or also you can select any solid background etc.

The developer has done an excellent job, but falcon X still needs lots of improvements. I’m looking forward to the next update.
